Why Hunter Safety? Because safe hunting is no accident.

Spend Time Learning Together
Hunter education programs in the past have taught young hunters the practice of firearm and hunting safety. Today, they have been expanded to produce knowledgeable, responsible, and involved hunters who understand the importance of complying with hunting laws and behaving ethically. These programs give beginners a good foundation, and they provide a refresher for veteran hunters.
Program Parameters:
- Suggested Age: 12 - adult
- Includes 10 hours of classroom and hands on experience
- Successful participants will receive their Hunter Safety Certification, a free small game license and a special "first time hunter" deer tag.
- Parents/guardians and children must attend all sessions together.
Camp Forest Springs is privileged to have qualified and certified instructors. They genuinely enjoy the sport of hunting and desire to help young and old alike participate safely in the fun and camaraderie of this sport.
Accommodations:
Dormitory style housing is available for male and female. Limited private housing is available for mother/son or father/daughter registrants.

Dick and John will lead daily informal devotions and times of reflections. It will be a great time of fellowship and you will have stories and memories to share with your friends and family.
This six day trip will include: Deluxe motorcoach transportation, five night’s accommodations, eight meals and all admissions and services scheduled, all tips and taxes.
Monday:
Travel to historic Galena, Illinois, where there will be time to shop, take in the scenery, and enjoy supper. Continue on to LeClaire, Iowa, for your first night at the award winning Comfort Inn & Suites - Riverview.
Tuesday:
Board the Twilight Mississippi River Cruise Boat and travel upriver to Dubuque, Iowa. Journey back in time to the days when steamboats were the fastest, safest, and most luxurious transportation in the country. Relax on the promenade deck and enjoy the wildlife, towering bluffs, and historic river towns as you experience life on the Mississippi. All meals and snacks are provided. After an eventful day, stay at the Grand Harbor Resort, Port of Dubuque, Iowa.
Wednesday:
In the morning, tour the National Mississippi River Aquarium & Museum. Later, re-board the Twilight Riverboat for a trip back down the Mississippi. Enjoy wonderful meals and return for a stay once again at the award winning Comfort Inn & Suites - Riverview, LeClaire.
Thursday:
After breakfast and devotions at the hotel, board the motor coach and head to the Hyatt Regency at the Arch in St Louis, Missouri. In the afternoon, enjoy the sights and sounds of the historic area of St Louis.
Friday:
Experience a full day of sight-seeing in St. Louis. Tour the museum and ride the shuttle to the top of the Arch. Feel free to enjoy many other sights in your free time. After a full day, relax another night at the Hyatt Regency.
Saturday:
Enjoy the friendships you have made as we travel back to Appleton, Wisconsin.

Morning session and brunch.
