Costs for the LTD Year
Christian Camping Major Track
Tuition charges are waived for the year at Camp Forest Springs. Other typical college or graduate-year costs apply and are set annually in cooperation with the affiliated colleges.
Intern-Graduate/Vocational Camping Ministry Track
For most LTD staff on the intern track, fees are set by Camp Forest Springs and change annually.
In all tracks of LTD, there are additional fees for spouses and children.
LTD participants are responsible for their own meals when the dining hall is closed. They are also responsible for long distance phone service, personal insurances, transportation, clothing, laundry, and other personal expenses. If a spouse participates in an LTD experience which is not built into the program fee, the couple may be asked to pay for the expense of the spouse.
One goal of the LTD program is the total immersion of the student and his family in the Christian camping experience. Consequently, LTD students and their spouses should not plan on outside employment during their time at Camp Forest Springs. Sources of income may include typical student financial aid, part-time employment at camp by the non-LTD spouse, savings accounts, and the support of family and friends.
