Winter Family Camp

Feb 12 – Feb 15, 2012 (Sun – Wed) • Speaker: Neil Wilson

Neil has been writing seriously for about 30 years. In that time, he has contributed foot notes to over twenty different Bibles. He is also the author of several books including: Were You There? The Mysterious Old Church; The One Year Book of Proverbs; The One Year Book of Life Lessons from the Bible, and has written a number of Bible studies and other topical curriculum. He has assisted with the development of many books with authors such as: James MacDonald, Chip Ingram, Sue Mallory, Chuck Swindoll, Max Lucado, Carey Casey and others.

Neil grew up in Mexico and Brazil as the son of Wycliffe Bible Translator missionaries. His passion for God’s Word grew out of seeing first hand the effect of the Scriptures on the lives of those who had never read them in their own language. Later, during Seminary, Neil worked for Youth for Christ in the Campus Life High School Ministry. Then he became a local pastor in Wisconsin, where he served in Eureka for 13 years and Ripon for 6 years.

Neil’s wife, Sherrie, is a teacher. Neil and Sherrie raised three children, two of whom are presently married. They are also proud grandparents of 5.

Memorial Day Family Weekend

Ray has traveled the world as a speaker for various missions and convention groups. He is a lecturer and speaker at several colleges and seminaries, and has written numerous books and articles over the course of his ministry. www.keepbelieving.com

Brian is a native of central Wisconsin. Before returning to his home community of Stevens Point, he served as a pastor in Vermont, and then as a missionary in Mexico City. He is presently the pastor of a thriving felloship of believers in his home area. He and his wife, Kathy, have three children: Luke, Steve, and Brianna.

Jul 22 – Jul 28, 2012 (Sun – Sat) • Speaker: Jeff Bogue

He travels both nationally and internationally speaking and training leaders. Jeff is an author and is presently a lead pastor in a large Ohio church. His proudest title is that of a husband and daddy. He is the proud husband of Heidi, and the loving father of his five sons: Josiah, Isaac, Micah, Gabriel, and Elias: and his little princess: Naomi.

Family Camp 4

Jul 29 – Aug 4, 2012 (Sun – Sat) • Speaker: Rob Rienow

Rob is the author of the book “God’s Grand Vision for the Home.” He and his wife Amy have founded a ministry called Visionary Parenting which inspires parents and grandparents to disciple their children, and equips churches to build biblical family ministries. Rob and Amy live in Wheaton, IL.

Aug 5 – Aug 11, 2012 (Sun – Sat) • Speaker: Dan Hayden

Dan is the Director of Biblical Research & Education at Sola Scriptura, an organization devoted to affirming the authenticity, accuracy, and authority of the Bible. Previous to his present position, Dan spent over twenty years in the pastorate in several churches and served on the faculty of Baptist Bible College as Associate Professor of Pastoral Ministries. He and his wife, Karilee, have two married children and eleven grandchildren.

Family Camp 6

Aug 12 – Aug 18, 2012 (Sun – Sat) • Speaker: Jim Engle

Jim is the senior pastor of a large church in Wausau, Wisconsin. Following a six year engineering career, he began training for professional ministry. Jim has pastored five churches previous to his present ministry. He has also worked closely with Evangelism Explosion and the Billy Graham School of Evangelism. Jim and his wife, Sue, have two married children and four grandchildren.

Aug 19 – Aug 25, 2012 (Sun – Sat) • Speaker: Jerry Marshall

Jerry has been a pastor, conference, and retreat speaker for over thirty-five years. He is one of the favorite speakers with family campers here at Camp Forest Springs. Jerry is presently the senior pastor of a church in Wildwood, Missouri.  Jerry and his wife, Cindy, have three married sons and nine grandchildren.

Labor Day Family Weekend

Aug 31 – Sep 3, 2012 (Fri – Mon) • Speaker: Paul Nyquist

Paul is the president of Moody Bible Institute. Previously he was the President of Avant Ministries, and a pastor in Des Moines, Iowa. He also served as adjunct professor at Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska; and Phoenix Seminary in Scottsdale, Arizona. He and his wife, Cheryl, have four children and one grandchild. They make their home in Chicago.
