Additional Information
Lodging/Meals
Volunteers may receive room and board if it is deemed necessary in order for them to fulfill their volunteer service. There should be no expectation on the volunteer's part for compensation for the services they render.
Families
If a family volunteers at camp, only one parent is expected to volunteer for the full day. Children under 18 years of age must be under supervision at all times by the other parent. Families may work together on projects at the parents’ and camp's discretion, but the children are always the responsibility of the parents.
Use of Program Areas
Use of the camp program areas are subject to the discretion of the camp administration. Some areas require staff supervision, such as the waterfront or ski hill.
Camper Bible Sessions
Volunteers may attend Camp Forest Springs sponsored Bible sessions as long as it does not interfere with the volunteer's responsibilities or the camp program.
Pets
Except for Seeing Eye dogs, we ask that no pets be brought onto the camp property.
Power Equipment
State law requires that no one under the age of 18 shall operate ANY power tools/equipment.
Injuries
All injuries must be reported to the camp director within 24 hours in order to qualify for worker's compensation.
